MULTIDISCIPLINARY BENEFIT EVENT –
2nd ST-LAURENT SIDEWALK SALE OF 2008!

La Centrale will spill out onto the street again for the Main Maddness sidewalk sale between August 21 and 24. BOOM BAZAAR (arts, crafts and random stuff sale) returns by popular demand. New on menu is Thursday night’s Greesy Goose public speaking evening, « Make a Game » workshop, and live performances throughout the weekend. Hit the Main to support alternative commerce and soak-up some local talent under the sun and the stars with La Centrale.

7h30pm: The Greasy Goose Salon presents "Street Meet"!
Join four community members as they present lectures and readings based on "street meetings" from cultural interventions to chance encounters, with a few undercover cops in between! http://www.thearchive.ca/greasygoose

Sound intervention on the Main’s noisy environment by Audiotopie.
