Each proposed artist was nominated by a third party. An external jury selected a shortlist of 3 finalists deserving of this award. In the centre's democratic spirit, the final decision is in the hands of La Centrale's members, whose vote will decide the winning artist.
We would like to express our appreciation to this year's jury, Lesley Johnstone (MACM), Anne Ramsden (UQAM), Jerôme Delgado (Le Devoir), Eliane Ellbogen (Eastern Bloc) and Catherine Bodmer (VIVA!).
La Centrale would like to recognize the generous contribution of an anonymous donor who has made this prize possible.
