From January 25 1976 to February 14 1976

Aspects of Lavendar Hill; A Women’s Homestead

Photography

GINGER LEGATO (NEW YORK)

Exhibition: 25 January-14 February 1976

First exhibition of a non-canadian artist.

In this exhibition of photographs, the artist bring to photography her knowledge of colour through her experience in painting. The use of oil colour as the tinting medium explores a greater range of feeling, than normally permitted in a Kodachrome reality. This photographic theme started as an extensive study for a past-oral series of paintings. However, the combination of media brought to the photographs, a dimension of their own.
