Intervals Collective | Around the table
The Intervals Collective is back at La Centrale! Around the table is a series of participative events taking place over four weeks. These gather the works of artists and food professionals from diverse communities, who take interest in food from ethical, geopolitical, sociological, identity, historical and contemporary viewpoints. Presenting an inclusive and decolonial perspective on food, this project is part of the Laboratory Programming of La Centrale.
In the second phase of Around the table, Intervals Collective will present a series of events taking place on May 18 and 25. On Saturdays May 18 and 25, following a four course menu (starter, main, dessert and drink), the artists will offer presentations and workshops on food.
Amongst the invited artists will be Tanha Gomes & Sandrine Côté, Victor Vargas, Farzaneh Rezaei, Carla Rangel, Salima Punjani, accompanied by the food professionals Carlota Boulangerie Mexicaine and Cacao Revolution. Miwa Kojima (courier-art) and Maria Hoyos will also present their individual research in this laboratory exploration.
