- 21h/week, 24.01$/hour

Our mandate
La Centrale galerie Powerhouse is an artist-run centre dedicated to the dissemination and development of multidisciplinary feminist practices. We are committed to supporting artists and artistic practices that are marginalized from dominant cultural institutions, and at various stages of their careers. Our programming is in dialogue with feminisms and supports intersectionality and social justice. La Centrale is committed to principles of anti-racism, anti-oppression, and equity.

What we’re looking for :
- Bilingual candidate (verbal & written fluency in French and English)
- Experience in supporting and creating artistic programming
- Project management experience and ability to coordinate collaborative projects
- Experience working in a cultural institution, non-profit or long-term artistic initiatives
- Knowledge and awareness of the field of contemporary art and non-profits
- Ability to manage budgets and timelines
- Technical competencies regarding exhibition installation
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Québec, Canada.

Tasks - Membership
- In collaboration with the co-direction team, revitalize membership and stimulate member engagement.
- Coordinate member enrollment and renewal
- Seek out potential partners to enhance the membership offering
- Record and maintain membership and renewal data
- Maintain volunteer hour banks
- Update La Centrale's members platform
Members’ festival Things We Share
In June 2026, La Centrale will celebrate the fourth edition of Things We Share, a festival dedicated to La Centrale members and coordinated primarily by the members and special projects coordinator. This initiative showcases the artistic knowledge and practices of La Centrale members, with an emphasis on collaborative working and learning methods. The festival takes the form of a series of workshops offered to the centre's community over the course of a week.
Tasks - Members’ festival
- Coordinate communications with the selection committee and selected members.
- Plan the launch of festival communications with the General co-director & communications.
- Participate in graphic identity follow-up meetings with the co-direction team.
- Follow up with artist members on the implementation of their workshops (signing contracts, technical requirements, and other support needs).
- Coordinate volunteers and contractuals (photographers, interpreters, others) for the duration of the festival
