Closure of the gallery on September 30, 2022 for the Day of Reconciliation and Truth

On the occasion of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, La Centrale has decided not to open to the public on September 30th, 2022. Although the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation is not a statutory holiday in Quebec, the gallery will be closed to the public in order to acknowledge the trauma caused by residential schools and to pay tribute to Indigenous survivors, their families and their communities. On this occasion, we invite you to consult these resources, educate yourself and reflect on what each of us can do to advance truth and reconciliation with Indigenous communities:
